Khopra trek also known as Khopra Ridge trek, Khopra Danda Trek or khayer lake trek is very popular off the beaten path trekking which is in the centre of Annapurna region. Khopra offers views of the Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Nilgiri (7,061m), Bhara Shikhar (7,647m), Annapurna I (8091m), Machhapuchhre (6,997m), and many other peaks which are not written here. Moreover, this is a very nice trek trail for trekkers who have a very short period to trek around 10 days but want to prefer to trek in a quiet place, this one is the best option. Khayer lake 4500 meters (14763 feet) is the main destination that is considered sacred as per the Hindu religion. Located just by leap on the Annapurna range a Khayer lake trek is something challenging trek itself, especially in the last part. The ever-smiling face of local people their cultures and the thick rhododendron forest always keeps you very happy during this trek. March April is the main time for rhododendron flowers.
— Pokhara to Banskarka (1020m): Leave Pokhara for a 3.5-hour drive along the Kali Gandaki river to Ghumaune Lake. The trailhead is in Ghumaune Lake (900m). From Galeshwor it is a 3-hour hike to Banskarka.
— Baskharka (1020m) to Nangi (2260m): Depart Banskarka for a 3-hour hike to Dandakateri (1570m), where you stop for lunch in a community dining hall. It is an additional 3 hours from Dandakateri to Nangi.
— Nangi (2260m) to Mohare Danda (3300m): Depart Nangi for a 4-hour hike to Hampal Danda (3000m), where you stop to take packed lunch. It is an additional 3.5 hours from Hampal Danda (3000m) to Mohare Danda.
— Mohare Danda (3300m) to Tikot (2060m): Wake up in the predawn morning to see the sunrise with a panoramic Himalayan backdrop. Depart Mohare Danda for a 6-hour walk to Tikot. Along the way, stop for a packed lunch.
— Tikot (2250m) to Khibang (2060m): Depart Tikot for a 4-hour hike to Khibang. Along the way, stop for a packed lunch.
— Khibang (2060m) to Swanta (2270m): Depart Khibang for a 3.5-hour hike to Swanta. Along the way, stop for a packed lunch.
— Swanta (2270m) to Dhankharka (3026m): Depart Swanta for a 4-hour hike to Dhankharka. Along the way, stop for a packed lunch.
— Dhankharka (3026m) to Khopra Danda (3660m): Depart Dhankharka for a 5-hour hike to Dhankharka. Along the way, stop for a packed lunch.
— (Optional) * Khopra Danda (3660m) day trip to Khayar Lake (4500m): Spend two nights at Khopra Danda and take a 7.5-hour day trip to Khayar Lake.
— Khopra Danda (3660m) to Paudwar (2000m): Depart Khopra Danda for a 4-hour hike to Paudwar. Along the way, stop for a packed lunch.
— Paudwar (2000m) to Tatopani (840m): Depart Paudwar for a 2.5-hour hike to Tatopani. Take lunch once in Tatopani.
— Tatopani (840m) to Pokhara: Leave Tatopani for a 5-hour drive along the Kali Gandaki river to Pokhara.
