My wife and I chose the 5-day Mohara Dana trek with Raj and his friend and porter, Chin, after a colleague of mine did the same trek with Raj a few years ago. It did not disappoint; in fact, I think it'll prove to be the best thing we did on our 3-month trip. Raj is a local to the Tikot village you'll visit on your last evening, and he knows the trail like the back of his hand. Plus, he knows all the teashop and lodge owners really well. When my wife was feeling unwell midway through the trek Raj even kindly moved his schedule around to give us a rest day. Can't recommend it enough.

Without worry, I would send my 65 year old mother to hike with Raj. Or, my 15 year old cousin. Raj is kind, smart, and funny. He allowed me to connect authentically to the individuals whose homes I was passing through, and I am so thankful. At one point during our trek up to Mohare Danda, ending at Raj's home village of Tikot, I was sure that I'd seen a carnivorous plant. He nicely explained that the plant was a lily and can be fermented and dried to make gundruk, a tasty side dish. Without Raj, I would have missed these details and so many more.

If you ever visit Nepal this guy will bring you off the beaten track. I truly recommend Raj since not only is he great at what he does by bringing you to places you would not go with a big organization. Also he is very communicative, kind funny and empathic. It was a real pleasure to trek with him.

Hi I did the Mohara Danda trek with Rajkumar with a friend. Rajkumar is a pleasant and above all competent person. Everything was well organized and in order. Beautiful trips and sleeping with local people was an experience as well as the local food was very good. We wouldn't want to do these adventures with anyone but Raj. At Raj you get value for money. If you want to do a trek, please contact Raj.

Namaste, I did the Mohare Danda trek with Raj, it was an incredible experience of a lifetime for me. I would like to appreciate Raj's communication before the trip itself, when we were informed about everything and he advised us everything we needed. Upon arrival in Nepal, our meeting and greeting was as agreed. The course of the whole trek was absolutely great, he had everything perfectly planned. Raj is absolutely great even from a personal point of view. And I believe that because of that we became friends for life, even though we are separated by thousands of kilometers. As soon as possible, I will return to Raj for another trip together.

I had the greatest fortune to experience the Mohare trek in 2018 with a group from my school with Raj as our guide. All logistics were handled seamlessly throughout our trek and we didn't have to worry about anything. He kept us on pace to reach each rest stop and summit at the perfect time of day to take in the incredible beauty and wonder of the Himalayan mountains. We even stayed a night in his village of Tikot where he is quite popular! He assured that our experience was educational, ecological, beautiful, insightful, and fun! I can't imagine experiencing Nepal with anyone else.

My friend and I did the Mohare trek with Raj 2 years ago. It was an amazing trek in which we visited many of the villages along the way. Raj was very accommodating and clearly experienced. In particular when I got severe altitude sickness and had to make a speedy descent after reaching the summit. Would love to do more treks with Raj!
